"The best staff. So professional and helpful!!"- T.D. / Facebook / May 26, 2021
"After more than 6 months, Aspen Dental could not make my dentures fit. I fired them and chose the closest dentist to my home. It was Bass River.... after going toothless for so long and making so many trips to Aspen for adjustments that did nothing, I had lost hope. Dr Pete and crew not only managed to make my dentures wearable but they laugh at my jokes too! Thanks"- M.S. / Google / May 01, 2021
"As a new patient I found It was a wonderful, homey, friendly, down to earth office. Felt very comfortable and well cared for. The office staff, Dr. Russo and my hygienist Kelly Holland were terrific. She was thorough, professional, knowledgeable and kind. It was a very positive experience all around. Would recommend this dental office with no reservations."- J.C. / Google / Apr 30, 2021
"The best experience I’ve had with a dental clinic in a very long time. From reception to the hygienist- which she did the most comprehensive and deep cleaning of my teeth EVER. The dentist is easy going and skilled. Very pleasant experience even through extractions. The dental assistant is so efficient that the doctor rarely has to ask for something. She has it in hand before he has to. Unlike my last dentist who had to ask (seemingly unassured) what he needed next. Sometimes leaving me alone to search for what was needed from another room. I’m very happy I have found #bassriverdental @bassriverdental to restore the multiple problems my last dentist left me with. They also take dental insurance !!! Great experience all around. Veneers can be used to quickly cover chips and stains on your enamel, improve misaligned or worn down teeth, and fix teeth that are abnormally shaped or spaced. At Bass River Dental, your veneers will be custom made to fit comfortably over your teeth for an attractive and natural look. During your consultation, we will listen to your goals and expectations so we can customize your treatment. We will also see if you are a good candidate for veneers by assessing your overall oral health. You should not have signs of gum disease, or habitually clench your jaw and grind your teeth (called bruxism).
What To Expect
Once your unique treatment plan has been developed, impressions of your teeth will be taken for your custom veneers. Your veneers may be made in our office while you wait, or the impressions can be sent to a dental laboratory where your veneers will be crafted out of high-quality porcelain material. When your veneers are ready, a small amount of enamel will be removed from the front of your teeth. This both creates space for the veneers and improves the bond for a more natural result that lasts a long time. Once your veneers are bonded, minor adjustments may be made so that they fit comfortably.
Since getting cosmetic veneers typically does not require anesthesia, you should be able to resume your daily activities after your appointment. You may experience some sensitivity to hot and cold food for a few days, but this should subside naturally. Your veneers should be cleaned like your natural teeth with daily brushing and flossing. While porcelain veneers are more resistant to stains compared to your natural enamel, you should still avoid staining food and drinks to keep your smile bright. To avoid damaging your veneers, you should not chew on hard objects, such as ice or your fingernails. Continue to schedule dental exams and cleanings at Bass River Dental so we can monitor the condition of your veneers, natural teeth, and overall oral health. One of our skilled dentists will let you know if your veneers need to be repaired or replaced.
Veneers are a cosmetic procedure, so they are typically not covered by dental insurance. Bass River Dental does accept many payment methods, including medical financing, to help make your treatment easier to afford. During your consultation, your treatment plan will be customized to fit your goals and budget. A member of our team will also go over an estimate for your treatment and explain your payment options.
